ABOUT US

MISSION STATEMENT

Outreach Foundation is dedicated to improving the living conditions of underprivileged families living in Dallas County Texas who are seeking assistance to help escape poverty.  The Foundation employs the most creative and effective methods available to assist the greatest number of families possible through recurring resources at its disposal, as well as those generated through fundraising activities.

The Foundation's main goal is to reach at-risk communities through education and empowerment, specifically families in crisis, with proven outcome assessment.  Various charitable projects, as determined by the Foundation’s Directors, will improve safety, enhance community, and provide the necessities that most often create stability and independence for families.  Those families able to graduate out of poverty, thanks in part to the Foundation’s efforts and assistance, will measure success, in part.

FRAMEHOUSE SAFE HOUSE

The Foundation has identified a clear need to expand its arm for families most at risk, women and children.  We are building a safe house for women and children in crisis, Framehouse Safe House.

The Safe House will provide a temporary, safe, and clean environment allowing a mother, during a difficult time, the ability to have a support system while she gets back on her feet.

Specifically targeting families that otherwise might not be reached. Rev. Flowers hopes to have Framehouse Safe House open in 2020.  It will be self supported through donor base and corporate sponsorship. We invite you to join us as we make a difference in the lives of families in need.

OUR FOUNDER

Reverend Johnny Flowers

Reverend Johnny Flowers is the Founder and CEO of Framehouse Outreach Foundation and The Empowerment Center. He is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Wynnewood Fellowship Church. Working around the clock, Flowers is a pastor of action who continues to empower the economically challenged, providing hope that has changed the trajectory of countless families and future generations in the Oak Cliff community.

Flowers’ innovative programs continue to transform the face of south Dallas with annual events such as Unity in the Community, where thousands of children receive a bike, coat, or toy before Christmas. His heart for lifting up those who have fallen is not simply a holiday event. Under his direction, children, teens, and adults receive mentoring, scholarships, and much more. Whether it is back-to-school season with haircuts and backpacks, leading chair aerobics at the retirement community, mobilizing gang members in prayer, or teaching English as a second language, Flowers finds the souls that are lost, heals those that are hurting, and educates through God’s word with wisdom and grace.

Flowers has held several leadership roles with Buckner International for over 20 years. Known for implementing life-changing programs with proven outcomes, he currently serves as the Assistant Director over Staff Training and Development as well as operating International Disaster Relief efforts. Flowers has been featured in several Buckner Today Magazine publications for his tremendous contributions mentoring young men and adults in multiple communities.

Flowers obtained his Doctor of Divinity at Universal Life Seminary, holds a graduate degree in Human Relations from Trinity College, and is a certified Christian and Family Counselor. As a graduate from the U.S. Non-Commissioned Officer Academy, he has served four tours of duty in combat with the U.S. Army.

Serving as Bank of America’s Ombudsman for the revitalization of  Wynnewood district, his motto is: “Where God gives vision, He sends provision. Whom He calls, He qualifies. When He qualifies, He equips.”
